Pub Crawl #4: East Side Story

The fourth pub crawl in my series of them for the Nottingham Social Activities Group took place after the Skills Exchange 3rd birthday party on Friday 28th May. Unfortunately only two other people besides myself turned up for it, a couple, neither of whom I’d met before. Even so we made the best of it. We started at Bunkers Hill on Hockley, skipped the Old Angel and tried the Kean’s Head. We were due to continue to the Newshouse but the couple left at that point, and I went there alone. Despite the relative failure of this crawl I made sure I enjoyed the taste of the beers in the Newshouse, which I consider one of the best pubs in Nottingham.
