The local National Autistic Society outings social group for adults with Asperger’s Syndrome had as its May event a trip on a narrowboat along the canal from Fellows Morton & Clayton pub and back again.
I’d not been on a narrowboat before, and I really enjoyed it. We got a chance to steer or help with the locks; I got to steer the boat for a considerable distance on the way out. Apparently I did rather well. 🙂
I took lots of pictures but have yet to sort them out. This was one of the more enjoyable outings group events I’ve been to.
