On Thursday 29th April the Nottingham ASD Book Group had its meeting for April, in the Lincolnshire Poacher as with the NPN moot the previous night, but this time in the room upstairs that can be rented for free.
Only two of us turned up, but we discussed the book “The Love-Shy Survival Guide” by Talmer Shockley and its theme in any case. We decided the Poacher’s upstairs room was quite a good venue, but we found it convenient to have the next month’s meeting on a Tuesday rather than a Thursday since for instance this means I can also go the Social Activities group’s pub quiz night at Fellows Morton & Clayton which had occurred on the same evening as the ASD book group for several months.
We set the book choice for May as Temple Grandin’s “Thinking in Pictures”.
