Unity:Nottingham 2010-04-25

Also on Sunday evening I attended “Unity:Nottingham“, an event celebrating the bringing together of cultures and races in the city, in an upstairs room at the Cape Bar on the corner of Victoria Street and Pelham Street. I got there quite late actually because I had stuff to do after Games Day; a lot of activities had already been and gone but there were still a few people there. There was music and dancing, Veggies in the person of Pat had a corner selling food, a few people had brought drums (and I had a go), and several people there performed. I got to meet someone who is keen on the discussion group idea, and I had a half of Wells Bombardier for £1.05, which I was impressed with. 🙂 Definitely worth going, and the first event of its kind with hopefully many more to follow. I missed the ‘speed networking’, but I’d really like to try that next time!
